Hydi Warranties and Returns

THIS WARRANTY AND RETURNS DOCUMENT RELATES TO ANY PRODUCTS THAT YOU HAVE PURCHASED FROM Groot – Automatic Hydroponic Systems Ltd. PURSUANT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE OFFERS TO PURCHASE (“PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS”), AND IS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE INTO THAT AGREEMENT.
IN THE EVENT OF A CONFLICT BETWEEN THE WARRANTY TERMS OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, THIS DOCUMENT SHALL PREVAIL TO THE EXTENT OF THE CONFLICT.
ANY CAPITALIZED TERMS NOT DEFINED HEREIN SHALL HAVE THE MEANING SET FORTH IN THE PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. If, in the unlikely event, your item arrives in less than perfect condition, please contact us and we will make it right.
Limited One-Year Warranty
Our Products are warrantied against manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the original date of delivery. Our sole obligation during this period is to repair or replace the defective part or product with a comparable part or product, at our sole discretion. Repaired or replaced Products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 30 days, whichever is longer. This warranty applies only to orders placed on www.hydi.io and to the original purchaser.
Warranty Exclusions
You agree to fully read the instructions and documentation before using the Product. This limited warranty does not cover:

Use of the Product for high-risk activities (defined below);

Use outside of published specifications or documentation;

Modifications or repairs not authorized by us;

Improper environmental or storage conditions;

Damage from external causes (e.g., power surges, dirt, misuse);

Third-party components not recommended by us;

Property or personal injury caused by improper usage;

Exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods;

Using chargers not provided or approved by us;

Continued use after detecting defects;

Violation of local laws and safety rules;
-
Any other improper use of the Product.
Returned Products become the property of Groot – Automatic Hydroponic Systems Ltd. We are not responsible for any data stored on returned units.
The Product is not designed for applications requiring fail-safe performance where failure could result in death or serious damage (“High-Risk Activities”), including outdoor hazardous use cases.
Warranty Disclaimer
EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE, ALL OTHER WARRANTIES (EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY) ARE DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of warranties, so the above may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GROOT – AUTOMATIC HYDROPONIC SYSTEMS LTD. IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN ALL CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT.
Returns and Refunds
Groot – Automatic Hydroponic Systems Ltd. offers a 30-day return policy on new units from the date of shipment. Refurbished items are final sale. Returns must be unopened and in original packaging.
Shipping charges are non-refundable. A $150 USD return shipping fee will be deducted. Consumables and accessories are final sale. Defects may be eligible for repair or replacement at our discretion.
Sending Your Product Back to Us
To request a return:

Email support@hydi.io to initiate the return process.

If necessary, an RMA number and return labels will be provided.

Only unopened, undamaged units with original packaging will be accepted.

You will be notified once your unit is received and inspected.
If your unit qualifies under warranty, we will cover return ground shipping. Otherwise, return shipping and a 15% handling fee will apply.
Receiving Your Product
Inspect your delivery immediately upon receipt. Do not sign unless the unit is undamaged. Report any damages within 3 days to support@hydi.io. Damages reported after that will not be covered.
Order Cancellation
Orders may be canceled before leaving the warehouse for a full refund. No refunds will be issued after shipment.
Shipping Address Changes
To change your delivery address, contact support@hydi.io before the unit is shipped. Rerouting may incur a fee.
